The caller will always call the letter and the number shown on the Bingo ball, i.e. B-10 or G-47, etc. This enables the player to locate his match, if any, in the shortest possible time. There is no limit to how many cards a player can purchase for each bingo game.

The winning pattern for any particular Bingo game is always announced after all the players have their cards and before the caller begins to turn the drum.
Bingo winning patterns can be:
- a full card
- four corner numbers
- a full line with five numbers in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal row
